Martina Pecková Černá

Martina specializes in cultural policy, international relations in the field of performing arts, and strategies for supporting and developing the cultural and creative industries. Since October 2024, she has been Head of Unit for Cultural and Creative Sectors at the Ministry of Culture, where she focuses on strategic sector development, public policy, and the support of cultural and creative ecosystems.

Previously, she worked for more than 15 years at the Arts and Theatre Institute, where she led the PerformCzech programme focused on promoting and developing the international presentation of Czech performing arts. She also has experience in the non-profit sector (DILIA, People in Need). Martina graduated from Charles University and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In her work, she combines arts management, cultural policy, and international cultural cooperation.
